FAQ
Is this only for TMU students?
Right now, yes. Campus Connect is starting at TMU and will expand to other schools one at a time. Tell us your school on the waitlist so we know where to go next.
When do I get access?
You will get an email as soon as your school is live. TMU is first; other Ontario schools follow as demand grows.
Is Campus Connect free to use?
Yes. Campus Connect is free to use, and we have no plans to charge for core features for students or student groups.
Is my location shared with everyone?
No. The app detects whether you are on or off campus on your device. We never store your exact GPS coordinates. Campus status is visible only to mutual friends.
How is this different from Snapchat Maps or Life360?
Those apps track exact location continuously. Campus Connect only shares an on or off campus status with mutual friends, plus student-group events and tickets. It is built for campus meetups, and it does not replace your group chat.
What platforms will it be available on?
Campus Connect will launch on iOS first, and an Android version is planned for the future. We will share an update when Android is ready.
How do events and tickets work?
Student groups post events in the app. You swipe for a free QR ticket that gets scanned at the door. If an event is full, you can join the waitlist and we notify you when a spot opens.
Can my student group post events?
Yes. Request your group through Contact or email hello@meetoncampus.com. Once we verify that you run it, you can post events, set capacity, and manage check-in roles.
Do you sell my data, and can I delete it?
No, we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Email hello@meetoncampus.com and we will delete your waitlist entry and any data we have on file.
